The amount of text on a package enclosure of medications, and also of chemicals and many a technical device is very often subject to official regulations which can differ from country to country.
Regardless of this, the type size should not be too small. Older patients, e. g., must also be able to read the enclosure of a medication without difficulty.
The question remains: how do we fold enclosures – that are often way too large – so that they, firstly, fit into the package and, secondly, can be included in the packaging without causing problems for the packaging machines?
The answer: Birkhäuser+GBC has not without reason been an important partner for the pharmaceuticals industry for decades. Our specialists, at one time or another, have solved almost every technical problem with regard to folding. Besides this we, as one of the few printers in Europe, own the American Vijuk-Patent for the folding of outserts and inserts. Leave this problem to us and you won’t have to swallow any bitter pills.
